Is a characteristic of the Sasser worm an inability to do
anything on your computer? I cannot get online, and it
seems the entire system is incredibly slow or non-usable.
It's odd because I have downloaded updates regularly and
have my firewall enabled. What to do? Thanks.

Thats exactly what was happening to my system with the
sasser virus. Don't do a windows repair/install like I
did. I'm still working through problems with that.

Do a ctrl-alt-del to bring up a list of processes that are
running. The sasser virus will be running
under "avserve.exe".

Norton has a download to delete the virus, I'm sure all of
the anti-virus companies do.
