Sart Menu Iten Icon

I have a program (.exe) that I pinned to the start menu but it
displays a generic icon and not the one that it shows in Explorer.
Any way around this?

Try right-clicking the program, choosing 'Properties', 'Change Icon'. 'Ok',
'Ok'.

Try deleting and restarting
"C:\Users\User name\AppData\Local\IconCache.db"

That's the first thing I tried. There is no command button
to Change Icon in the Genereal tab or anywhere else in the properties.

I had messed up. I installed the program twice in different folders
and it must have gotten confused. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled
it and it is now displaying the proper icen.
