I just returned a PNY 256 MB flash drive to Staples
because Windows XP said it couldn't identify it. I
replaced it withj a Sandisk CruzerMicro. On the very first
plug n play, it was recognized. I loaded a few midi files
into it. On a subsequent plug in, I got the same message.
The unit was not recognized ( Unknown Device )
It works just fine with my laptop running XP home edition.
What in the world is going on? Any fixes would be
appreciated. I tried downloading th win9 drivers, I did,
but when I attempted to install them, XP detected a win9
driver and refused to unzip it. Wow, how complicated can
it get?
