Sandbox mode

Hi,

I'm going to deploy Office 2003 via SMS 2003. However, we keep seeing
"unsave expressions are not blocked" message when I open any Access files on
a few test PCs. We are mainly using Windows 2000 with SP4 and also the
Rollup 1 so that should take care of the Jet 4.0 part. I know that I can
click "yes" to the message "do you want to block unsafe expressions" to
prevent this message from appearing again.

However, it seems that only an user with administrator rights have to login
and click on the Yes button for this to take affect; regular users get this
message everytime when Access opens.

My question is this: I'm using the custom installation wizard to create a
transform file to deploy Office 2003, is there any way that I can enable
Sandbox mode with this? Maybe by adding a registry key?

Also, might Office 2003 SP2 fix this issue?

Thanks to all!

The Registry keys that need to be changed or added are:

\\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Jet\4.0\Engines\SandboxMode

Change the value of this key to 2 if it isn't set there already. (It's the
default.)
Values available for the Sandbox mode:

0 =
Sandbox mode is disabled at all times.

1 =
Sandbox mode is used for Access applications, but not for non-Access
Applications.

2 =
Sandbox mode is used for non-Access applications, but not for Access
Applications. (Default)

3 =
Sandbox mode is used at all times.

You need to be an admin on the machine to install Office or change registry
keys.
