Every time I turn on computer, event viewer shows the following 2 --
1) Warning - Source E100B - Event ID 8 - Adapter Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network
Connection. Did not receive auto negotiation from link partner. A duplex
mismatch may occur.
2) Error - Source Service Control Manager - Event ID 7000 - The IC Recorder
Device service failed to start due to the following error: the service cannot
be started, either because it is disabled or because it has not enabled
devices associated with it.

How can I stop these from occurring each time I boot up?

Have you done a Google for a solution.
Just type in the search box 'event id 7000'
Good luck

1) set a hard coded speed/duplexing in the NIC driver. Not recommended.
Recommended: fix the "link partner" to negotiate a link.
My Network Places->Properties->Network
Connection->Properties->Ethernet Card (intel)->Properties Somewhere in
there is the speed/duplex link. try it at your own risk

2) google it.

What are you connected to on the other end of that Ethernet cable? Hub?
Switch?
I'd recommend setting your NIC not to do autosensing, if it isn't working
right - try 100/full and see whether it works.

Is that perhaps for a Panasonic MP3 player or something?
