Same sound problem different question

Hello,
I have the same problem as many have posted about but I
have a different question. I also have no sound with
messenger 5.0 and have gone through the wizard. My
question is what effect would disabling the QoS have on
my network. It is a work computer with about 50 PC's. I
searched the knowledge base and did not quite understand
what it said.
