Same problem with Deskjet 6540 -- no solution

I have the same problem with Outlook 2007 on Vista 32-bit. I should
have all the latest updates, and HP doesn't have any drivers for
vista. "it's all built in" -- I can already hear the cheesy sales
pitch for Vista and HP's "partnership". Anyway, I tried searching the
HP forums as a previous poster suggested, and that was pretty much
useless. Google only brought up this post. Anyone have a solution??

This is for a HP Deskjet 6540, which is different from the other
poster's printer... yet HP and vista remain constant... annoyance at
both rising.

Sorry, I meant to reply to someone else's post, who is also having an
issue with printing calendars in Outlook 2007 with color. All other
apps print with color no problem. Here's the post I'm replying to:
