Same left margin for all levels in outline

Can I format my default styles in the Master Slide so that all levels
have the same left margin? Seems I cannot drag the left margin all the
way to zero for any level but the top level. Each following level MUST
have an indent from the level above.

Frustrating? You betcha!

Problem: The moment I add bullets or an indent to a level, lower
levvels se that indent for the left margin.

What I get:

Level 1
Level 2
· Level 3
Level 4
Level 5

What I want:

Level 1
Level 2
· Level 3
Level 4
Level 5

It's amazing how badly designed this 20 year old program is.
