I went to a sight that was going to require me to change my password.. so
when i entered my user the 1st time windows asked; do you want me to
remember this password. (windows XP)
I said no, because i wanted it to remember it AFTER i changed the
password..
now it does not ask any more.. how do i change this so it will akks me and
then save the password?

Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools, select Internet Options, go to the
Content tab click AutoComplete, place a check next to "Prompt me to save
passwords," and click OK. If it is checked, un check it, click OK, then
Check it and click OK.

trhat did not seem to work. it was checked i unchecked them all then said
ok.. closed reopened checked them all said ook but it still did not ask..
Is there a way i can clear that one site? so it reasks me?

Try that again but this time reboot the system as for some reason this
option won't always enable until the system had been rebooted.

In addition, after rebooting, Open IE, go to Tools, select Internet Options,
click Delete Cookies, Delete Files (accept the option to delete all offline
content) and click Clear History. This will clear the IE cache and prevent
a saved page from showing up as opposed to a new call to the site.
