Could someone please tell me how to start my computer in safe mode? My

instructions say click start, click shutdown, I don't know where shut down
is.

Thanks,

Turn the computer off in the way you normally do, which
should be by clicking START and then Turn Off Computer, that
will popup your options to restart, turn off and depending
on power setting, hibernate [or standby]. Select either
restart or turn off, when the computer shuts down and is
restarted, press the F8 key to open the boot menu, then
select Safe Mode.

Start>Turnoff Computer, then you have a choice among 3 option buttons:
Standby, Restart and Turnoff Computer. The last choice is probably
Shutdown.

Hi ... If you are still having problems trying to get into safe mode you can
also try this >>> click start >>> then click Run >>> type msconfig , click
ok >>> then click the BOOT.INI Tab >>> then just add a check mark on
SAFEBOOT >> click apply ,,, then restart your computer and it will take you
there ... Once you are done in safe mode just go back and remove the check
mark follow by clicking apply ... Restart and you should be back to normal
boot
