My Dell Inspiron 2650 will not start in Safe Mode when I hit F8 at startup.
The OS is Windows XP Homw Edition SP2 installed.

Hey there ... Try this click start >>> then click Run >>> type msconfig ,
click
ok >>> then click the BOOT.INI Tab >>> then just add a check mark on
SAFEBOOT >> click apply ,,, then restart your computer and it will take you
there ... Once you are done in safe mode just go back and remove the check
mark follow by clicking apply ... Restart and you should be back to normal
boot

We heard you 13 minutes ago, no need to repeat the question!

You have to start hitting F8 BEFORE the OS starts to load.
Continually tap it until it brings up the menu giving you Safe Mode as
an option.
