safe mode

everytime i switch on my new laptop it starts up using safe mode (so my son
tells me) and we cannot change this setting at all. is there any way that we
can splve this problem?
 
Start>Run>type MSCONFIG and press OK
Click the Boot.ini tab and uncheck /SAFEBOOT
Click Apply and OK. Reboot.
