Restart your computer (Start > Shutdown > Restart). When your computer
restarts, begin tapping the F8 key frequently, until you see the boot
options menu. It takes a bit of practice before you get the timing right, so
it might take a few tries.
I'm afraid to ask why you want to start in Safe Mode, but perhaps we'll find
out soon.
