safe mode

I am in safe mode and cannot get out of it,I reboot and it is still in safe
mode. I can't do a system restore because it says it is turned off. Can
anyone tell me how to get out of safe mode?

See if this helps,
While in safe mode, type "msconfig" in the Start>Run box.

The go to the Boot.ini tab and unchecked /SAFEBOOT.

What does the Boot.ini file have in it? You can locate this by Control
Panel>System Properties>Advance>Startup and Recovery Settings>Click the
Edit button and copy the contents into this post.

The computer I am having trouble with is not is not online so I will try to
write what you asked for.I recently got a new computer and need to get my
files copied to disk and put on this new one.That is why I need to get out of
safe mode.This is the info.[boot loader] timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\windows[operating system]

I see nothing wrong with the Boot.ini file. There is a way to get your
files from your computer. You can take the hard drive out of the old
machine and hook it up to the new machine as a slave drive. Then copy
your files from the old hard drive to the new hard drive within your new
computer.

If you cannot do this yourself, maybe you know a friend that can hook
the old drive to the new machine as a second drive to get your data.

If you choose to do this, you might get "access denied" messages when
trying to access your old hard drive. This is easy to overcome by taking
ownership of the files or folders.
