Hi all.

Does anyone know where or what Outlook looks for when starting up to
know weather to ask to launch in safe mode?

Is there some registry entry that gets switched or something that tells
Outlook to ask the safe mode question?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

Come on guys... Someone has to know the answer to this... please???

I'm so sorry for not posting the solution. I got so excited about
finding it and implementing it, i totally forgot.

Anyway, if Outlook 2k3 is set to start up in Safe Mode, it adds a key
to the registry here:
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Resiliency

The Resiliency key is the one you want. There is a subkey underneath
Resiliency called StartupItems with a binary value, but in my logon
script, I just delete the Resiliency key and Outlook starts up fine
without asking about Safe Mode.
