safe mode problems

On a windows XP operating system my comp boots in safe
mode and system restore has been turned off. I get a
message telling me that system restore cannot be turned
back on in safe mode. Does anyone know how I can restore
the comp in normal mode so I can turn system restore back
on.

1. Type msconfig and then click OK.
2. The System Configuration Utility appears. Uncheck the "/SAFEBOOT" option,
and then click OK.
3. You then see the prompt to restart the computer. Click Restart.
Hope this assists you back into normal mode.
