S-video out?

My brother recently purchased a FX5500 video card. This card has
S-video out and we are both wondering how to connect his computer to
his tv. His computer does not have an S-video plug, but his dvd
player, which is what his xbox and such is plugged into has an S-video
out, not in. How would we be able to connect his computer to his tv
with this standing? Any help would be appreciated.

The simple answer is to read the graphics card's manual which can be found
at the website of the manufcturer. The more complicated answer is to
download and install the latest nVidia drivers, then right click on the
desktop, select Properties, then in Advanced, and Settings you should 'see'
the TV monitor.

Remember that Windows cannot detect a device that is turned off... so turn
the TV on before rebooting the PC.

Use a standard S-Video cable to connect the graphics card to the TV. And
remember S-Video is video only. Audio will still emanate from the PC's
speakers.
