s-l-o-w word

[weekend]

As of yesterday, getting in, out, opening & saving word has become extremely
slow. all my other programs, including Firefox, run as fast as usual, which
is pretty fast. I've ditched temp files, checked registry, etc, etc. to no
effect. Please advise.

thanks Stefan, but today Word is opening & closing okay. The slowness is just when saving, printings, sending -- anything that's on the Office Button. Any ideas?

It's a good idea to try the steps under "If Word crashes as soon as it
opens" even if the symptoms don't match exactly.
