Error 1303

"Setup cannot access the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office. Verify that the folder exists in your system and
that you have sufficient permissions to update it." In
fact, there is NOT a "Microsoft Office" folder there; just
the "microsoft frontpage." Maybe I will try to install
Office (on which this edition of FrontPage isn't supposed
to depend).

I have been around this torturous track a couple of times,
already. Argh.

What are you trying to install?

You must have the FP CD to install FP.

I do have the CD. That's not the problem.

Sounds like you have Windows XP or Win 2K and you don't have Administrator
rights/priviledges to install software, hence it is denying you access to a
folder that has a software application. (hence the bit about "sufficient
permssion to update it"). I could be wrong.....but otherwise, if the folder
didn't exist, the installer program would just create it.

Frontpage on my machine is installed in c:\program files\microsoft office\office
