Runtime terminates my MS Outlook program on start-up

Each time I attempt to open MS Outlook, I encounter the following error
message; This application has requested runtime to terminate it in an unusal
way. Please contact application support team for more information.
I re-ran the install repair program disc, but still encounter the same error
message?
