runtime errors c +library,and explorer errors

i keep having runtime errors with pop-up ads, when i click
on the message the brwoser stops working and the desk top
turn off ( freezes up ) i have to restart pc.allso i get
explorer has caused an error and will now close ,the pc
shuts down,usaully while playing games on line.What can i
do to resolve this problem?
