Help !! !!

I am running IE6, but i keep getting this error when loading certain pages:

----
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!

Program: C:\PROGRAMMER\INTERNET EXPLORER\IEXPLORE.EXE

abnormal program termination

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error!
----

One of the pages causing the error is:
www.computerworld.dk
or
www.dmi.dk

But sometimes, after trying to reload (visit) the page 2 og 3 times, it
suddenly works.

My system is virus and adware free 100% !
I have no extra toolbars of any kind

My windows is 100% uptodate as well as explorer.

By the way; my "operating system" is Windows Millenium
( XP; no way at this time ! :)

What to do ??

Robert ;-)

Try uninstalling Google toolbar from Control Panel -> Add/remove programs.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware.

Hi,
I worry about declarations that any system (except mine) is 100% adware,
spyware, malware free. ;-)

But, some things you might try...
BHODemon 2.0: http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm disable all
BHOs. See if the error ceases. If no change, re-enable all BHOs. As you
probably know, many BHOs are safe and/or useful.

Both sites had some Javascript.
Go to Internet Options> Security> Internet Zone, set it to Default.

Try these two commands from Start> Run
regsvr32 vbscript.dll [enter]
regsvr32 jscript.dll [enter]

Clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content when that dialog pops up) It's often
recommended that the TIF folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)

Reinstall the scripting engine. Go to
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.asp
for the appropriate download of Windows Script 5.6

Check any third-party security programs to see if one of them is blocking
scripts, scripting, active content. Norton Internet Security and a number of
other programs can be configured to block scripts. Disable, for diagnostic
purposes, programs which run in the background, interact with IE and might
be interfering with Javascript.

And, if running IE6 on WinME, you probably have a "repair" option for IE in
Add/remove programs> Internet Explorer.

Hope this helps,
Don

No BHO's at my system at all...

Go to Internet Options> Security> Internet Zone, set it to Default.

The same as before...

Ehh ? And the message is:

"This command is only valid when an OLE Custom Control project is open"

Help ?

Already done several times...

Done. And the problem has not gone.

Check any third-party security programs to see if one of them is blocking
scripts, scripting, active content. Norton Internet Security and a number of

No programs running, not even messenger.. And for sure not Norton Internet

Repair: Done, still the same problem.. sigh !

Thank you, but what´s next ?
