Runtime Error

I am constantly getting the same "runtime error" which
closes all my open Internet Explorer windows on both my
home and office computers. I have run ad ware and
spyware removals, have antivirus installed, etc. I've
searched everywhere for the answer to fix this problem
and have had no luck. Any help would be great!

The error reads as follows:

Runtime Error Visual C++
Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate
it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more
information.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
