I am getting a runtime error message while in internet
explorer. It reads "The callee (server [not server
application]) is not available and disappeared; all
connections are invalid. The call did not execute." I am
stumped. Any ideas?

Are you running some sort of dialler? What does a scan with a current
antivirus program (meaning a version not later than 2002 and using
updated virus definitions) show? Also, remove spyware with Spybot
Search & Destroy from www.security.kolla.de and Ad-aware from
www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure to update these programs before running
them. It is best to run antivirus and spyware removal tools in Safe
Mode.

Ran current anti-virus, removed spyware and ad-ware, no
viruses found. Still get the same message. I have to use a
separate computer to post messages as the error blocks me
from posting new threads as wellas running any video or
flash media. Very strange. I just had some problems and
ran the windows XP disk which prompted me to repair the
installation. Afer that, this problem showed up. I
uninstalled and reinstalled Internet Explorer, DirectX,
shockwave and no changes. I'm tapped.
