runtime error

I can sign in to internet explorer. But if we switch users (without logging
out) we get the following:

Runtime Error
Program: c:\programfiles\internetexplorer\iexplorer.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusal way

It does not matter which user signs in first - the second cannot. the only
way to sign on is for the first user to log off. This started in the last
several days and I do not know why or how to correct. I do not have google
toolbar installed(this was cited in some postings).

Any ideas?

Irv - I am having the EXACT same issue. I do have the Google Toolbar,
however uninstalling it did not fix the problem (as it did for other people).

Can anyone out there help???????????

Try this if you don't have Google Toolbar installed but have SP2 installed.

From Internet Explorer: Tools -> Internet Options -> Programs
Manage Add-ons and disable the following line:

File: pxwma.dll Name CInterfaceObj Type: Browser Helper Object

If no luck, it could be another file but the above solved the problem in my
case.
