Runtime Error

My computer has multiple user accounts. On all the other accounts
(besides this one), when I try to open internet exporer 6.0.2900.2180,
I receive the following message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORER.EXE

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more
information.

When I try to open My Computer, I also receive the same error message
except with the line:

Program: C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.exe

The same thing also happens if I try to open other things like My
Documents, Recycling Bin, Control Panel. I have read other solutions
that suggest removal of the Google Toolbar. I have never used the
Google Toolbar. I do not have any toolbars. Is there any solution to
this?

I also can't open my Internet Explorer. This started after I updated my
Windows XP. I'm getting the same "Runtime Error" as everyone else. What is
the solution?

Is there a solution that does not involve the Google Toolbar? I don't
have the Google Toolbar. I even did a computer search for any files
relating to the Google Toolbar and came up with nothing. So, I'm
fairly certain that my issue is not related to the Google Toolbar.

IEXPLORER.EXE is a known Trojan.
You probably have some malware issues to deal with.

Google is just the most common example of a third-party program
installation which causes incompatibilities. Use this information as a clue
to try uninstalling other such packages you have installed recently.

Good luck
