I've seen others with similar problem to mine, where I receive an error
message when trying to run 'I.E.6' on 'XP with SP2'. Full error is:-
---------------------------------------------------
"Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library"
"Runtime Error!"
"Program:C:\Program Giles\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"
"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application support team for more information"
-------------------------------------------------------
Strange thing is that the 3 other user accounts (incuding Administrator) can
all run 'I.E' without any problems! It's only my account (admin privs) that
has the problem. It seems to be a problem related to my 'profile'??
The only thing I have done since the last time it worked for me is to copy
some 'Personal Folder' files (.pst) into the .pst directory so I can open
them with 'Outlook 2002'.
Ideas anyone, please? I only want to restore an image of my 'C Drive' as a
last resort.
Thanks
