Hi Folks

When viewing web pages, I keep getting 'Runtime Error at
line Line 'XXX'. Do you want to debug' Messages.

What can I turn off to stop this popping up?

It has only happened in the last few weeks.

For info: I automatically accept any update that
Microsoft offers from their update site.

I am running Windows XP Professional.

I hope you can help! It's annoying.

Thanks

Greetings Bongo,

These script debuggers are in the JavaScript code of webpages you visit. Unless you are a developer of those pages, there is nothing you can do. However, you can disable these notifications in Internet Explorer. Click the "Tools" menu, go to "Internet Options" click on the "Advanced" tab, put a check mark in "Disable script debugging" then uncheck "display a notification about every script error". Then click Apply and Ok.
