IE 6 runtime error

B

Bruce Stollmack

lately, I am getting an error message in my browser (IE 6) on many web paegs
i go to. The message usually says something like this:
A Runtime Error has occurred.
Do you wish to Debug?
Line 43
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method

can anyone suggest a fix? do i need to re-install IE 6 (and if so, how?)

thanks

Greetings Bruce,

Those runtime errors are in the JavaScript code on web pages you're viewing.
Unless you're the developer of those web pages, there's nothing you can do
to fix them. Their code is broken, not your system. The best thing you can
do is disable these notification errors in Internet Explorer.

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click "Tools" and choose"Internet Options".
3. Click on the "Advanced" tab, check "Disable script debugging" then
uncheck "display a notification about every script error".
