Runtime Error 7

When I try to open programs on my computer like MS Office, they open and shut
quickly and then this error comes up> runtime error 7 , out of memory. I
checked my memory and I still have plenty on my machine. Can anyone tell me
how to fix this?

Well how much is "plenty"....For xp alone,512mb gets you by,add office,you
should run,1024mb If youre satisfied with the min,open system properties,
advanced,virtual memory,change button,select:"Let system manage" click set
2X,close out,a restart should get prompted.
