RunningSum in a Subform? (Access 97)

Hello,

I've had some success using the RunningSum property in my reports for
while now, and today was hoping to use it in the footer of a subform
but it isn't there. I've read the help files and apparently th
RunningSum property is only available in a report.

Since reports and subforms often share the same continuous recor
structure, it seems daft to me that I can't make use of the RunningSu
feature in a subform.

Please could someone recommend a way round this problem?
