Running Video clips in PowerPoint 2003

I can insert a video clip into PowerPoint, but when I go to play it, a box
displays telling me that it has encountered an error and needs to close. Then
it asks me if I what to send a report to microsoft. It also gives me a
website to check out the problem, but all it says that there is some codec
that it does not know. It gives no solution. I was able to run video clips
before. What can I do?

A "quick fix" that *usually* helps is to download and re-install the Windows
Media Player. Make certain to get the same version currently installed on
your PC.
