I have a working network connection but I would like to
troubleshoot problems like the one like the Spooler error
that many of us may have had. Can I run the Network
Wizard without making any drastic changes that would
effect me getting back onto the Network?

You can make a system restore point (Start | All Programs |
Accessories | System Tools | System Restore) before running the
Wizard. If anything goes wrong, restore the system to the way it was
before running the Wizard.

However, I don't think that the Wizard will cause any problems if you
specify the right options for your network. Even if you get something
wrong, you can run the Wizard again and fix it.
