running server software on XP pro

Hi,

I currently use windows 2000 server for my main development workstation, but
I'm thinking of moving to XP professional when I upgrade my PC soon.

I develop lots of server stuff and I don't want to close any doors by moving
from a 'server' OS to a 'workstation' one - I don't have access to a
separate server machine.

I definitely don't need a domain controller, active directory, exchange,
sharepoint or any of the heavyweight stuff like biztalk. I definitely do
need IIS, asp.net, SQL server (I have developer edition), J2EE stuff (mainly
tomcat)

Is there anything I've missed? - does anyone know of any common server type
software that won't run on XP pro?

Thanks

Andy

I know everything you say you need runs on XP Pro and on my XP laptop,
with the exception of Tomcat which I don't have any experience with. My
hunch is that it will work ok.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
