Running School Master

I work for a school district that is running School
Master software. My problem is some of the computers
running XP Professional will access the software on the
server and some will not. I have tried many different
network settings on these computers and I still have no
luck in accessing this software. Any thoughts or
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
 
what happens if you try a differant log on? try accessing
the software from the admin account, if you can then its
a permissions thing probably.

can the computers that cannot see the application even
see the server? can you ping it?
