Running programs from different accounts

I am new to XP (Home). I have just installed an
application which runs fine from my account desktop
(administrator), but when I put a shortcut to the same
application my wife's desktop it will not run. I went
into "properties/shortcut/advanced" by right clicking the
icon and changed the shortcut to run wih different
credentials but that did not help.

ANY ideas anyone?

Some programs will only run correctly if the account is an administrator
account, you can tell if that's the problem by making your wife's account an
administrator account. Go to control panel and select "user accounts" then
double click your wife's account and make it an administrator account.
You can change it back later the same way.
