I have in the past run in DOS mode to do a virus scan by
typing in "scan/adl/clean/all". I have used this twice
to remove viruses. At one point I again tried to run
this scan but received the following error "CLEAN.DAT
not found." I did contact someone who helped me retype
by putting spaces in between each "/" and it did run fine.
Now once again it will not run - not even with the
spaces. would someone PLEASE point me in the right
direction. I would be eternally grateful!!!!!

There is no dos mode in Windows XP. What antivirus are you using? Try
and scan in Safe Mode (hit F8 as the computer is booting). What
viruses? We need more information from you in order to provide more
help.
