Running CHKDSK?

I recently set CHKDSK to run at boot time on my Win2K Pro computer. As the check was
ending, the screen spit out an error on the free space, and then cleared the screen as
it continued to reboot.

How can I see the exact error - is it written to a log file somewhere?

Look in the Event Viwer Log.

Found it - it's in the Application event log, source Winlogon.
