running 2 outlooks on the same user

hi - I currently have 2 users set up on 1 computer so that I can run outlook
for 2 separate email accounts. I tried setting up both email accounts in 1
outlook interface but it was too confusing / difficult for me. I would like
to be able to open Outlook twice on the same computer within the same user so
that I don't have to switch back and forth. Is this possible? I could use 1
outlook and 1 outlook express but they are both business accounts and I
prefer to use outlook for both.

It's quite straight-forward to configure two accounts in one Outlook, but if
you have two Windows users, then I don't see what the problem is. Configure
one user to use one account and the other user to use the other account.

A structure called a "mail profile" controls the associations between
accounts and folders in Outlook and only one mail profile at a time can be
opened by a single Windows user. You can certainly open two Outlook
windows, but they'll be the same Outlook process and use the same mail
profile, so you'll still need to define both accounts within one profile, so
you're no better off.

Tell us the difficulty you're having with configuring two accounts and we
can help you with that. Otherwise, either two Windows users or two mail
profiles are you other choices. In the case of two Windows users, you can
use Fast Switching to move between them. In the case of two profiles,
you'll need to close Outlook and reopen it to switch between them.
