Runner Error Message

Every time I turn on the computer, I get the following
error message:
RUNNER ERROR
Invalid Back Web
Application ID "7288971"

There is an "OK" button to check, and the message goes
away. The computer continues functioning. There is no
link to any possible explanation or solution.

What does the message mean?
Is there a "real" problem?
How does one track down the source and elminate the
problem?

I'm not going to be able to completly answer this, but
maybe I can point you in the right direction. If you are
using a Compaq or HP computer with Win XP and recently
installed the new XP Service Pack that became available
about a month ago, this problem is discussed as a known
problem at the HP/Compaq website. HP/Compaq uses Back
Web to send you periodic messages. The security features
in the XP Service Pack apparently stop that function.
HP/Compaq has a "fix" at their website.
