runing games on the secondary monitor

Hello there
I have a video card with TV out, The extend desktop to this monitor is
selected for the secondary monitor.
What I want to do is to be able to run games (Or any other application) on
the secondary monitor without setting it as the primary monitor, so it just
starts in the secondary monitor when I want it to do so.
is this possible?
Regards
Sameh

No, unless the game is aware of the second monitor.

Specifically, if the game is multi-monitor aware, and that is evident in
the instructions; yes. Otherwise, no.

For example, Flight Simulator 2002 up, is multi-monitor aware, and can
work full screen on both monitors, or can work in the second monitor.

Unreal Tornament 2004 (which just came out) is not multi-monitor aware,
and will only work on the Primary monitor.

As a side note, some games can be windowed, moved to the secondary
monitor, then maximized. But some, will maximize right back to the
Primary Monitor.

Also, do note that some video card companies such as ATI and nVidia
offer support for multiple monitors and include software that enable the
ability to run applications/games on any monitor specified by the user.
For nVidia, it is included with the drivers. For ATI, it is called
HydraVision. In both, there should be the option to force
applications/games to open on the secondary monitor.

As for spanning both monitors in a game/application, the
game/application has to be, as Courtney pointed out, multimonitor aware ;)
