run works & word on same machine?

Is it possible to run Works & Word on the same machine? Or
are there conflicts?

The @#%&*! people at MS don't seem to allow new templates
to load in Works. I'd like to wring their necks. In Word,
you go to tools, and then options -- no such luck in Works.
 
Sure, they will run at same time, WORKS SUITE is includes
WORD. You can even install WORKS and OFFICE.

Have you looked at the WORKS webpages for templates and used
the HELP menu to see how to create or install templates?
