Run win updates on drive other than C:

Does anyone know how I can run windows updates on a drive
that is not label c:? I have a computer with the
harddrive partitioned, the C: section is to small for
windows updates. The D: section, which is where windows
2k is installed, has plenty of room, but when I go to
update the update automatically go for the C drive. how
can I change that?

Hi

You cannot configure Windows Update to use a specific drive.
It is supposed to select the drive with most free space (that
is non-networked and writable).


If you are able to make your C: read-only in some way, WU
should start using D:
