repartitioning

i have inherited a PC where Win2K is on the C: (boot) partition and data is expected
to be put on the 2nd partition (D:). The 'My Documents' directory is on the D:
partition. after applying numerous updates and patches, etc. the boot partition is a
bit small. i have partition magic and would like to repartition the hard drive into
1 big partition. I would like to have everything on C:. i know that i can move the
'My Documents' directory to the C: partition; but what registry changes need to be
made? MS Office is on there, anything for that? what about changes to settings such
as userprofile, homepath and homedrive?

any suggestions appreciated
steve

D

DL

You simply relocate My Documents, rt Click on My Documents>Propeties >Move
No registry changes needed
Assuming D partition only has data, either delete the partition, then expand
C with PM
You may have to alter setting in various apps to point to the new My
Documents location
