I have tried to run two different digital file cabinet programs:
1. Digital File Cabinet from runningman software
2. FileWise
XP home SP2
Lexmark x73 printer scanner
I get this error msg. when trying to run either program.
Run-time error '-2147217900 (80040e14)":
unknown
When I open either of these from the start menu I get this popup. If I open
filewise from Windows Explorer
I get the error message and a new file shows up in the folder ;
fw.ldb 1kb LDB file
As soon as I close the error message the new file disappears.
I have other scanning software on the PC. Everything work just fine.
I have tried uninstalling, running registry medic and reinstalling. Still
the same problem with both programs.
I shut down all running programs before installing, antivirus etc.
I am running zonealarm, Norton antivirus, roboform, webroot spysweeper,
spybot-sd resident.
I just ran, a full virus scan, trojan remover etc. nothing detected, besides
this is the only problem I have.
I tried running the programs from safe mode and still get the error.
Thanks for any advice
