"Run-time error 430" when open on one computer, fine on other

We have an access database file used in a small business with two computers
connected via a network. I can open and use the file fine from one computer
(I think this is the computer the file lives on. But from the other we now
see the following error upon trying to open the file:

"Run-time error 430. Class does not suport Automation or does not support
expected interface." The Access version on that computer is 2003
11.5614.5606.

We think this happened just a couple of days ago after installing a Windows
XP update and a QuickBooks update.
Is this a problem with Access on the machine or the file?
Are there known incompatibilities with recent WinXP updates?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
