run-time error '339'... what's wrong??

my pc crashed a few weeks ago.. it's running again now
but there are a couple of programs that won't run and
generate the following message...

"run-time error '339'
component 'MSCOMM32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not
correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"

can anyone help me out on this ???

Google is your friend! The first entry for "run time error 339" has a
registry script which will restore the ocx.
