Run-time error '-2147024770 (8007007e)'

I'm actually getting two errors, the first is when I
attempt to open a product called IMS Distribution viewer
with one windowsXP machine (same machine both errors).

the message is:
Automation error
The specified procedure could not be found.
IMS2DIST # -2147024769
Cannot Connect to Datasource
Normal Operations cannot occur.

The second error is when I attempt to open any of the IMS
(Imaging made simple) modules from the IMS2 taskbar.

the first part of the message is (box 1):
ADO Data Error (diagbox header)
Automation error
The specified module could not be found.
IMS2DIST # -2147024770

the second part of the message is (box 2):
Imaging Made Simple 2.1 (diagbox header)
Run-time error '2147024770 (8007007e)'
Automation error
The specified module could not be found.

I have a second XP machine that works fine, and a windows
2k machine that also works fine, any idea what could be
causing these errors?

Some one help quick cause I'm going bald over this one :(
