run-time error '-2147024770 (8007007e)'

Can some one help me? One of my users started getting this
error in Microsoft Access '97 with in XP Pro opening up a
certain database.

Run-time error '-2147024770 (8007007e)'
Method'CurrentDb' of object'_Application'failed

My only options are to debug, end or help.

I tried reinstalling Office, but that did not work.

Other users can open the same database fine.


Can you please email me responses.

It sounds like either broken references or a corrupted file. If you have
another copy of the file that you could copy to that computer, it may be the
easiest fix.

Hi every one,

Can some one help me? I've problem with my computer. every time I use my
telephone my computer always turns on. My computer using Windows XP Pro.

I would suggest a hardware newsgroup or Windows XP newsgroup. This group if
for the MS Access Database program. However, check your BIOS settings and
see if there is a setting about waking or starting on ring. The interrupt on
the modem may be getting detected and starting the computer.
