I want to run adaware as soon as my system boots, but am having problems
getting it to start.
if i go to "my
computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\windows\currentversion\runonce"
and put in the registry ad-aware and then the location of the file
"C:\program files\lavasoft\adaware ect, ect" then close the regeditor, and
then reopen it the location of the file has been cleared?
what am i doing wrong?

Phil

Put it in the 'Run' key instead.

You're using the "runonce key" instead of the "run" key.

But, as I said yesterday, much easier than editing the registry
to do this is to put a shortcut to it in the folder

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
